Job overview

Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience and suitability

The Directors of the Bishop Konstant Catholic Academy Trust (‘the BKCAT’) are seeking to appoint an effective and efficient Trust Development Officer to implement their strategic vision and be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the BKCAT.

Formed in 2012, the BKCAT is a large Catholic multi academy trust with Christ at its centre. Working closely with the Diocese of Leeds and comprising nine Catholic primary schools and two Catholic secondary schools, the BKCAT is committed to working in partnership to provide the highest possible standards of Catholic education for our children.

The ideal candidate will be a practising Catholic or have a demonstrable commitment to fostering the Catholic ethos and unique mission throughout our academies. This is a key role within the BKCAT and the successful candidate will need to work closely with the Trust Finance Officer, Trust HR Officer and Headteachers to progress, develop and embed systems across our academies.

Candidates will require significant senior management experience and have a track record of delivering improvements in a complex environment. They will be effective at building relationships, have high level thinking, excellent communication skills and be passionate about education in the widest sense.

This role offers a challenging but highly rewarding opportunity to make a significant impact on the educational outcomes of thousands of pupils and drive the continued growth and development of the BKCAT.

For a confidential informal discussion about this role or to request a full job description and application pack, please contact Chair of Trust, Claire Daniel: cdaniel@bkcat.co.uk

The BKCAT is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful candidate will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS disclosure and vetting check.
