Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience and suitability

The Directors of the Bishop Konstant Catholic Academy Trust (‘the BKCAT’) are seeking to appoint an effective and efficient Trust Finance Officer with overall responsibility for the financial management of the BKCAT.

Formed in 2012, the BKCAT is a large Catholic multi academy trust with Christ at its centre. Working closely with the Diocese of Leeds and comprising nice Catholic primary schools and two Catholic secondary schools, the BKCAT is committed to working in partnership to provide the highest possible standards of Catholic education for our children.

The ideal candidate will have a demonstrable commitment to fostering the Catholic ethos and unique mission throughout our academies. You will need to work closely with the Trust Development Officer and the BKCAT business team to develop robust systems for financial and business planning, budgeting and financial controls and have a demonstrable track record of success in the effective leadership and delivery of financial management, business support services, income generation and managing transformational change. You will be responsible for reporting to the Board of Directors on the financial position of the BKCAT and the individual academies and prepare reports to support strategic decision-making.

This role offers a challenging opportunity to support the continued growth and development of the BKCAT whilst having an awareness that the role will impact directly on positive outcomes for all of the children and young people within our academies.
