Our client provides education and training to a wide range of learners and clients across the City of Manchester and beyond. Their mission is to deliver a high quality, inclusive and comprehensive curriculum, in an accessible and flexible way.

They now have several exciting new opportunities for Tutor/Assessors with a background in Automotive Manufacturing or Engineering to join the hard working team in the Apprenticeship Unit. This role will be based in Liverpool, delivering via a new Academy to a single large, international client.

Based within the College's Apprenticeships Team, the Tutor/Assessor will contribute to the development of new courses, undertaking tutorials, either one to one or group tutorial sessions, and assist with recruitment by interviewing, enrolling and inducting students. You must carry out all necessary administration related to the teaching programme and contribute to the teaching of the related curriculum, participating in the extra-curricular activities of the section.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in Automotive Manufacturing or Engineering and must have a subject specialist level 4/5 qualification. The ideal candidate will also have a teaching/assessing qualification (TAQA or equivalent) or willing to work towards one. They must have experience of teaching/assessing, and ideally experience of working with apprentices. An IQA qualification (Internal verification) would be desirable.

With a creative approach to teaching and curriculum planning, you must have the ability to establish appropriate relationships with apprentices and employers and also be able to demonstrate good organisational and administrative skills.
