Grove School and Sixth Form are proud to work in partnership with LLS – the UK’s leading provider of Post 16 sports courses.

Following the successful launch of this sixth form partnership in September 2020, and its continued growth, LLS are seeking to appoint an experienced and ambitious Physical Education teacher. The successful applicant will teach the BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma programmes to pupils in Years 12 and 13 whilst supporting students to access weekly work experience and utilise LLS’ professional network.

Objective of Role

Deliver outstanding theory lessons which are applied in practice as part of the BTEC Extended Diploma in Sports Coaching & Development timetable. The teacher will coordinate regular work experience for students within Marches Academy Trust Schools and with partner organisations in the local community. If you are successful, you will work closely with your area lead and together you will provide an unforgettable learning experience which leads to incredible outcomes for your students, both in the UK and abroad.

The successful candidate will become part of the wider LLS education team which is headed up by two former High School Vice Principals.

Since being founded in 2008, LLS has developed a fantastic team culture. By joining you will enjoy many benefits including the equivalent to one day per week of PPA which can be taken from home. In addition, there are annual opportunities to access several insets / CPD events in Liverpool and across some of their 20 education locations (both in the UK and abroad). You will not be expected to teach any other subjects, other than the LLS Post-16 programme.
