John Roan School- United Learning:

Thank you for your interest in working at The John Roan School. We are a large mixed secondary school which joined the United Learning group of schools in September 2019 and, supported by the expertise and guidance that has brought us, are rapidly improving outcomes for students. Ofsted graded us as a ‘Good’ school in October 2023 and as we continue our school improvement programme, we are looking for people who share our values and passionately believe that all children can achieve, no matter what their starting point, background, or needs.

The Role:

We are looking to appoint a highly experienced and innovative Vice Principal with the vision, experience, and energy to join a dynamic Senior Leadership Team in a school that is committed to great progress for all students. The successful candidate will provide a significant presence and impact through school leadership, and lead, motivate, and inspire students, staff, parents, and the wider community; also, ensure every student achieves ambitiously well and gains the knowledge and qualifications to succeed in life and at work.

The successful applicant will be required to be DBS and safeguarding checks
