The Vice Principal will support the Principal and Senior Team in the strategic and operational leadership and management of the Academy, promoting its ethos and culture of high expectations and acting as a visible ambassador for the Academy and Spencer Academies Trust. They will live and breathe a strong culture of safeguarding and set unflinchingly high standards for pupil behaviour. You will be joining a forward-looking team that are hungry for improvement. Along with other members of the senior leadership team, the Vice Principal will undertake a range of organisational and supervisory duties and discharge routine leadership functions such as taking assemblies, dealing with student behavioural issues and line managing other staff. The Vice Principal should be able to assume responsibility and deal with day to day matters in the absence of the Principal. In addition, senior leaders are expected to contribute to the Spencer Academies Trust, and support, where necessary, any of our Trust Schools.

We have approaching 18000 children and young people in our academies and employ more than 2200 teachers, leaders and educational support professionals across the East Midlands.
