Aberdeen City Council is seeking a full time Virtual School Head Teacher who will work with schools and partners to improve outcomes for our Looked After Children. We currently support around 350 children who are Looked After, some of whom are placed outwith Aberdeen City.

The successful candidate will report to the Head of Service Inclusion and will line manage a 'Looked After' teacher. The successful candidate will work with a range of partners to ensure the Child's Plan is aspirational and effectively implemented to support wellbeing, improve attainment and support children to reach positive post school destinations.

The appointment will be subject to full registration with the General Teacher Council for Scotland (GTCS).
