Values and Vision

St Columba’s is a school of Church of Ireland faith and ethos, but also prides itself on welcoming students from all other faiths. It is a place of high academic aspiration that creates students who are well-rounded individuals and suitably prepared for a successful future.

The school is full of state-of-the-art equipment to help learners in the education and extracurricular activities. It is perhaps the school chapel however, from the 1880s that is the heart of the school, as the one time the whole school meet together every day.

Department of Education and Skills

“Key priorities for development have been identified by management and these are progressing satisfactorily. There is clear evidence that the school is effectively managed by senior management. There is a strong culture of delegated leadership and devolved responsibility in the school.”
