Year 2 Class Teacher

Agincourt School is a friendly co-educational pre-preparatory school catering for girls and boys from 3 to 7 years of age and is situated on the banks of the River Wye. It forms part of the family of Haberdashers' Monmouth Schools. Currently there are 108 children in the school and 26 children in the Nursery. There is considerable demand for places in the school, with numbers of registrations rising significantly in recent years. A third Year 2 class is being created from September 2015 to accommodate the children on the waiting list for a place in this year group.

The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, dedicated and well qualified. They will be responsible for teaching a full range of curriculum subjects and the ability to offer a subject specialism in ICT and an interest in sports coaching would be an advantage.

This role will suit a conscientious and creative practitioner able to demonstrate consistent delivery of outstanding lessons. A contribution to the wider life of the school and the willingness to undertake extra-curricular activities is expected.
