Job overview

Vision for Education requires an experienced KS2 teacher to work in the Gateshead area. The position is a full time role starting in September, initially for 1 term with the view to being extended. Applications must be comfortable teaching in Year 3 and have recent experience within a primary school. This position is not suitable for NQT’s.

The role will be that of a class teacher, under reasonable guidance of the head teacher. Duties will include; creating a stimulating and effective learning environment, delivering engaging lessons, differentiating lessons effectively, assess and plan next steps for progression, contribute to the wider school curriculum.

The school would ideally like to receive applications that have recent experience within KS2 and a proven track record of progression at this level. Any experience of working with SEN such as ASD, EBD and ADHD would be advantageous, and any evidence of CPD would also be a bonus.

Applications should have strong classroom and behaviour management abilities.
