The Academy council are seeking to appoint an excellent teacher to our school.

We are looking for someone who will;

  • be supportive of the catholic ethos of the school
  • be an excellent classroom practitioner with high expectations
  • have experience of teaching upper KS2 maths
  • Be organised, hardworking and committed to raising standards
  • Has excellent relationships

We are seeking to appoint a temporary, part-time teacher to join our happy, caring school community. (5.5 hours per week, M, W, Th and Fri 9-10:15am including PPA time). We can offer the successful candidate a supportive and welcoming community of staff, pupils, parents and council members. This post will begin 14/04/15 for 1 term, initially.

Whilst Catholic teachers are preferred, any teacher who is truly supportive of the Catholic ethos will be considered for this post.

St Ignatius Catholic Primary School is close to Jn 40 of the M1 and is easily accessible from Leeds, Huddersfield, Barnsley and Sheffield areas.

Safeguarding is of the uttermost importance and the successful applicant will be required to complete an enhanced Disclosure Application form and provide criminal conviction information. They will also be required to sign a Catholic Education Service contract.
