Year 6 Teacher

Vision for Education are now recruiting on behalf of one of our client schools based in Carlton, Nottingham for a Year 6 teacher to work 5 days per week.

The school is a county, co-educational, junior day school catering for the 7-11 age range. It was described by Ofsted as ‘an effective school that provides a good standard of education for its pupils’ and ‘pupils make good progress because teaching is good’. The school also prides itself on the good behaviour of its pupils and their positive attitudes towards learning.

The primary school would like to receive applications from teachers who are determined to provide a high standard of education, ideally with evidence of 'outstanding’ teaching. Duties will include planning and preparation, assessment and record keeping, differentiating learning based on the individual requirements of the children, developing and progressing children’s extra curricular interests and promoting healthy lifestyle choices. Excellent classroom and behaviour management will be required in order to be successful.

To be considered for this position, it is essential that you have a recognised teaching qualification, hold QTS and have a minimum of one year's experience of teaching a class of primary age pupils.

Our client school requires the chosen candidate to undergo a DBS check (if they do not hold a current one on the update service) and received satisfactory references in order to start.
