For nearly 40 years I worked with children in a variety of roles. I am now retired/ As a Teaching Assistant in a primary school I covered all subjects and all ages. Specializing : Computing (In 2005 I achieved joint first in the Becta ICT practice awards, I was school Technician and delivering the Computing Curriculum to years 1-6 for 7 years), Speech and Language and SEN, creating tailor made resources to help the children with specific needs. To see children become inspired and progress is a joy. I created an Advanced form of 'Colourful Semantics' which I called 'Colourful Speech' to avoid colour coding confusion. I wanted something that I could use with my SEN children that would grow with them and be able to be shared in the full class.
