Hi! I'm Alison Jagger and I am a maths teacher! I graduated from University of Sheffield in 2014 with a degree in Mathematics with Employment Experience (having spent my third year working as a Maths HLTA in a Secondary school). I continued my studies in Sheffield to complete my PGDE the next year and a Master's degree in Applied Professional Studies in Education the following year (which I did part time along side my NQT year). ​ ​ My first 5 years teaching were at a secondary academy in Wakefield, including 4 years as Deputy Curriculum Leader. I have recently accepted a position at another secondary academy in Wakefield as Associate Assistant Principal with a focus on teaching and learning and start at this school in September 2020. ​ I've been sharing resources through TES since 2012, started MissBanks.co.uk in 2012 (which became JaggersMaths.co.uk in 2020) and started my YouTube channel in 2017. I also tweet as @JaggersMaths.
