The Historical Association is an independent charity incorporated by Royal Charter. We advise on curriculum issues at all levels and campaign for access to specialist historical knowledge and collections. The Association continues to support the study, teaching and enjoyment of history at all levels. As part of its response to the new history curriculum, the Historical Association is making some of its resources freely available to help all teachers, not just members, meet the requirements of the national curriculum. Here you will find help with some of the harder to teach aspects of the curriculum, as well as items to help colleagues develop their own subject knowledge and plan the new schemes of work with confidence.
