This is a comprehensive resource with clear power-point slides introducing nouns and pronouns and an exercise on identifying nouns and pronouns along with their answers. A great introductory or substitute lesson!
This is a powerpoint presentation of six slides containing resources on different types of nouns such as common, proper, concrete, abstract and collective and also pronouns.
The activity asks students to identify different kinds of nouns and how some words can have a different meaning in different contexts. This resource would be useful for revision purposes and is intended for pupils aged between 10 and 14.
These hand drawn resources are a great starting point for grammar lessons. Use as posters or colouring sheets to open a discussion as to why nouns and pronouns are such an important part of speech.
Children can add pattern and colour to the drawings to create even more opportunities for interesting and imaginative sentences.
Included is a worksheet and a help sheet for those moments when you need to think on the spot or as a hand out at the end of a lesson.
I hope the simplicity of the drawings are simple enough for the children to recreate and make their own posters.
