Print off the shape and question sheets as A4. Enlarge the grids to A3 to be able to cut and stick the shapes on. This was done as a small group activity. The question sheet checks how well they understand the sorting activity.

I linked the ppt to the Time and Tune Viking sagas for the viking Lands. We used a box with added card flaps using collage, paint and drawing to create the worlds. Lots of fun!! Let me know what you think please.

This includes a price list and a sheet to be cut up for the children to make their own toatals.. An addition sheet of two values. Working out a total then colour the correct value of coins. We did lots of shop play and coin recognition before the sheets were used. Have fun!!!

Visual images of the most known Roman Gods and Goddesses. Information about a lararium, house shrines and related symbols. I used this to create a small lararium, also paintings and drawings of the Gods and Goddesses. Children also found out the equivalent Greek Gods and Goddesses and their qualities.

I used this with a Year 2 class. Van Gogh is an artist that all the children enjoyed talking about. They created landscapes with paint, pastels,collage. Some colour mixing with thick paints, light and dark shades.

For more able children-difficult money problems- totals, finding change, 3 coins to make a value. Used with a seaside topic and shop in class.

Individual letters containing a famous art work of his. They are all capitals as they best fit his work. Can be printed A4 or as multiple pages for a smaller display. Was inspired by one I downloaded so I had a go myself !!

I used this with a seaside shop topic.Simple total of 2 items.Colour in the coins for the totals using coins up to 10p. Could adapt for 1 item and the coins needed.

Each of the letters contains a design by William Morris. Print off as A4 sheets for display.

I compiled the alphabet with a yr2 class which we made reasearching vehicles. I'm sure more can be added.I made the easy and harder word search for those who completed their dt task quickly. They had fun finding the vehicles, some words are there more than once!!

I use this with year 1 and playgrounds topic. They choose the equipment they like and we compile a class pictogram. I have used the questions as a talking point or written down. You can always make up pictograms with questions for groups as well.

Children had fun finding out about the meaning of their birth sign in the Greek Zodiac. After drawing the character they added the star sign and stars.

This is a brainstorm of ideas for art and sculpture that can be developed in class with a range of primary ages. Creative ideas from drawing, painting and collage along with some background to the year of the dog. I include favourite dog story books as well. An old song I used for a topic on seaside when we made paper bag and finger puppets. You don't need the puppets just a bit of enthusiasm and maybe some instruments for fun.

Sculpture topic with Year 2.. Lots of discussion about the work and the titles of Caro's work. This linked to D.T fixings and fasteninings - staplers, tape, glue.Also to Maths measuring strips of card. All work fixed to a 10cm x 30cm base. Could also focus on sculpture shape or the colour. Have fun!!

This is the same as the Roman Gods and Goddesses. It has all names changed for a Greek theme. Visual content is the same. I used this in an art class and also ideas for making puppets.
