What is Easter and how it began is covered next, leading onto Christian beliefs about Easter. How Christians celebrate Easter is also covered. The final slide has a reflection about hope. We are not a religious school. Each slide has notes to accompany it so that you can either allocate pupils to present the assembly or do it yourself. All self-explanatory.

I have used this as an hour lesson for my Year 11 classes who are revising for the final GCSE Edexcel Islam exam. They have the textbooks and their exercise books to refer to. We use the ‘Religion Peace and Coflict through Islam’ by Waqar Ahmad Ahmedi. The lesson includes exam questions, key word cards, a 6 minute video clip with a worksheet.
