My department is new to delivering this course so I have created all of these from scratch. There are a mixture of resources that can help with the practical performance unit both in the classroom and during practical sessions. So far since we have focussed on Badminton and Volleyball as an individual and team sport and used basketball as a sport to teach officiating. There are some worksheets, PPs to support lessons, some practical log sheets that can help both the student to keep a track of their own learning and can allow teachers to feedback whilst also making sure pupils respond to feedback. I have included differentiated worksheets and a template for students to complete LO4 task. I have included a possible assessment plan that you could use for the unit for the year and a class tracker with some simple formatting to calculate/predict final grades (see tabs along the bottom for grading guidance). A worksheet to collect data and use to review performance (with a simple example for students to use).

This is a speed session plan I used as an example and carried it out as a practical for BTEC Sport level 3 unit 4 : fitness training and programming. The pupils have to write their own session that will develop speed so they can use this as a guide.

Edexcel GCSE PE worksheet

This is a comic strip to represent the sliding filament process. I did the drawings to try and make the topic a little bit more fun. The A2 students made their own comics too. Each section represents correct responses on the AQA PE spec.

As both AS (12 mark questions) and A2 (14 mark questions) require 16+ points to gain full marks along with QWC, I made a simple revision/note sheet to use so pupils can gain at least 8 marks in each topic area. Just a basic sheet but useful to assist in prep for essay questions.
