This is a booklet/workbook designed for year 7 students (possibly as a bridging unit) to introduce the basics of rhythm, note values, the elements and notation. It is still not quite finished, but will load the last couple of notation lessons once they are done! (The Haunted House worksheet is on the mtrs site if you’d like to go there as it’s not mine really to download! Also thank you to mtrs for the inspiration for teaching rhythm using circles in squares!)

A scheme of work, student booklet and information booklet for year 7 students. This is a revised version of the earlier documents posted and the content moves a little faster and relates to the New National Curriculum. I have taken out the PLTS images and Baseline Assessment as they are not mine to share. I will add the resources for the keyboard skills as soon as possible!
