Short tasks for pupils to complete after their formal assessment on a variety of topics. You can differentiate by highlighting one or more section that the learner has struggled with in their writing task . Make it a privilege for Gifted students to only complete it a revision for end of term Formal assessment, make it fully compulsory for “weaker aka not hard working students” to ensure that they cover basic grammar, spelling etc. aspects once more.

This presentation aims at developing independent skills. Too many learners have got used to being (spoon)fed information and do not always take charge of their learning. This document is providing examples of what learners can, could and should do when a task set in class by the teacher is finished. This goes along with the philosophy “I am in school to push myself and see how far I can go with my progress”. For teachers, I like to believe it gives a bit of inspiration for extension tasks.
