Powerpoint to aid the learning of initial sounds bl, br, cl, cr. At the beginning of the week we dicuss our 'blends of the week'. Each day a new blend is learned. We use the powerpoint page specific to the blend. Sound out the words together and then think of our own. THe children love it and see it as a game rather than learning.

There is a label master for you to add any levels that I haven’t had chance to do. There’s quite a few word documents so hope this works…here goes! I will add the others in another file. Fish to float in the water with sounds on from group 1. Resources to support PIP card 9. Children ‘go fishing’. When they catch a fish they must say the sound on the fish. High ability children must catch 3 fish and make a word. (Vowels are in red).
