The purpose of each functional area
The main activities of each functional area.
An engaging active lesson where students work as a team to design and cost a new app. A great first lesson of the year for year 9/10 students or as an introductory lesson. Can be made more/less challenging and is editable.
There are 6 timed activities that students complete in thier teams in order to win points. These activities include:
- reading and memorising information about the app industry, which they will then answer questions on, as well as use to make decisions about thier app later in the lesson.
- working together to come up with a range of possible ideas and thinking about how each idea might work, who might use it and why, then making a decision on which idea they should go with.
