Lines y=c or x=c

(1)
Worksheet for lower to mid ability students on lines parallel to an axis. I used plotting the points of the first question as the starter and then after a quick class discussion and similar example let them go at their own pace. By the end of the lesson they were ready for some bingo questions asking them for the equation of various lines.

Game to accompany 'Defuse the Bomb - Fraction of a number 2'

(2)
This is a collection of slides to accompany the worksheet 'Defuse the Bomb- Fraction of a Number 2' which was produced by TES member alutwyche. It allows children to 'defuse the bomb' by clicking on the correct colours of wires in order, if they make a mistake the bomb goes off. I would like to point out that the idea behind this is not mine and to download the worksheet you need to go to https://www.tes.com/teaching-resources/search/?q=defuse%20the%20bomb.
