I have created these for my P1 class. We read the book together and children completed the actvities in the booklet. There's activities on character description, story sequencing / re-telling and story-writing. My class enjoyed the programme a lot. A1 booklet was created for my lower ability groups. A2/3 for the more able pupils). Pictures were downloaded from the Roald Dahl website.

13th Century Castle Life

This is a starter sheet which I used for my class to research the different people who lived in a 13th Century Castle. Once characters were researched, children created a Drama scene taking on one of these roles. Can be used in conjunction with http://www.kidsonthenet.com/castle/view.html which as an interactive Castle children can use to find out more about these characters.
