A-Level French Translation Booklet

After studying AQA reports of the past 8 years on recurring errors in the translation tasks of the A-Level French examination, I created a booklet that gives both AS and A2 students hints and tips on every single important areas to work on to improve their translation skills. The booklet comes with a contents page, and each section of the booklet is followed by original translation exercises for the students to complete. You will also find a PowerPoint presentation that follows the booklet, to be used in class by the teacher, and a teacher’s version of the booklet with all the answers to each of the exercises.

This pack also comes with 9 full one-hour PowerPoint lessons with worksheets to work on the four sentence builders presented above: Lesson 1 - Alphabet Lesson 2 - Greetings Lesson 3 - Numbers 1 to 20 Lesson 4 - Age Lesson 5 - Numbers 1 to 100 Lesson 6 - Birthday Lesson 7 - Nationality Lesson 8 - Writing Assessment Lesson 9 - RAMP Each lesson has a starter, vocabulary practice around a sentence builder, games, pair/group work, an individual reading or writing task and a final review activity. This has represented for me a full half-term with my Year 7 class.
