This is a PowerPoint with about 100 inspirational quotes, some from famous inspirational people, Dr Seuss, Disney movies and Winnie the Pooh. These will be used as a way to track progress in handwriting throughout the year, and also to assist with punctuation of speech/direct quotes. There are lines on the page to allow the teacher to model how to write the phrase using joined writing.

A PowerPoint with 40 Inspirational People that can be used as an independent research task, possibly for fast finishers. A different person/slide will be displayed each week for the children to use ICT to find out information on significant people throughout history. The children can independently research a different person, take notes of what they have found, record it on a post it note. At the end of the week we will have a discussion on what they have found out about the person and we can then keep all the info in a folder. to reflect on their learning. Can be used for CFE Outcomes; I understand that evidence varies in the extent to which it can be trusted and can use this in learning about the past. This year is going to make it very difficult to have a nativity performance as previous years. I have put together a basic script that can be used for a video version, where we will have the P1 in costume acting out the main roles while the narration is a voice over by the older children. This means it can all be learned and recorded in each class, possibly even filmed outside (no crossing of bubbles). Due to the restrictions on group singing. I have also added in suggestions for some classic Christmas songs that can be learned in BSL. (Please note these are not my own videos they are just possible suggestions from YouTube, apologies for any inaccuracies). Please feel free to adapt as you feel necessary to suit your setting. I plan to film each section, and then put it together using Imovie to add in the voice overs and songs. I would love to hear feedback or any suggested changes you may have.

A name label for the children to have on their tables with a number line 1-20 and a per-cursive alphabet. I have uploaded a fully editable word version that the child's name can be typed into. The alphabet could also be edited to use whichever font you require. The font I have used is pre-cursive lined which may not load properly on every computer (you can download it online). For some reason the bottom of the letters with a tail seem to be cut in the PDF version so these may need to be manually added before use. Many Thanks
