This lesson could be easily adapted to fit all world sport events such as Rugby/Football World Cups, or the Olympics. Designed for use with SEN students across the range of abilities up to Entry Level/NC Level 3.

This resource explores the structure of a newspaper article, before giving an example for the class to share and complete differentiated activities on. With activities to encompass complex needs learners working at P1/Milestones 1 up to NC level 3/Entry level 3, this is an age appropriate activity for older learners on the SEN spectrum.
