This set of resources has been use with BTEC for unit 3C2. It allows pupils to fill in a table of properties which they can then use for their assignment. It is also suitable for GCSE revision for bonding
This resource can be used with a year 7 group (or any other group for revision) to revise items that are covered when introducing science. The pupils must use the pictures and letters to 'say what they see' I got the idea from a TES contributor so credit to them for the idea.
This is written as a trial to assess part of APP thread 1 Scientific thinking. It is a level ladder sheet mapped to how i have interpreted the threads with a levelled pupil sheet for the students to complete. The pupil sheet would be blown up on A3
This is a trial version so i would appreciate as much feedback as possible -it is tailored to the ability of pupil my school contains so i am aware of how leading it is which may not work in everyones school.
As i said it is a work in progress so please suggest any improvements

(be aware the Tes view of the teaching slide has moved text around -the DL version will not have that error)
Part 1
It starts with a pupil led marketplace activity where they research given sections -links are given and some slides at the end of the ppt file to support if you dont have text books.
They work in pairs and take turns being the expert and the learner
Part 2

They are provided with an example that you work through together before they start their rotation. -answers provided
The aim is to get them used to pulling information from the information before they see the question to improve exam technique.
There is a from the front ppt file that includes the tasks and a separate ppt file that has the sheets and MS to print
