Medusa - Pie Corbett style - Week plan

(0)
A unit of work about Medusa. Ideal for those studying myths and wanting the children to write their own mythical story. Can be changed for other narratives easily. Text included, with a drama style Whoosh added into the text. This is where the children are in a circle and you go around reading the story tapping children on the head to be the character. They then go into the middle of the circle and act what you read. Once a Whoosh is read they sit down and then new children are selected around the circle to join the story. Great for assemblies! Success criteria easily attached with lesson focus on as well.
