Pupils are required to consider life without electricity and then record a reply letter for Mr. Malcolm Parks to convince and persuade him to not take the electricity from their local village/area. I have used this for 3 years now and always receive fabulous feedback from parents who feel this is a creative way to cover cross-curricular activities as well as getting children engaged and therefore making learning more meaningful.
