Y2 Differentiation ► The Chain Rule ►Flipped Learning Homework

(0)
This worksheet is designed to introduce the chain rule as a homework task. It is designed as a set of example-problem pairs. Students watch the video and copy the examples (e.g. 1E, 2E, etc.), following each example they should pause the video and attempt the accompanying problem (e.g. 1P, 2P,etc.). The examples cover the formal use of the chain rule, but do not cover the quick method. I recommend following up this activity with the DrFrostMaths activity titled “Y2 Differentiation - The Chain Rule (FL)” which is available in the DrFrostMaths global library. This enables checking for understanding before beginning the topic in lesson. Alternatively, it could be used as a lesson activity.
