My pupils often find selecting a scale difficult this activity takes them through a number of examples. breaking it down into stages. I use this as an introductory lesson to graphs and again as laminated cards using white board markers when pupils get their scales wrong on graphs. To allow them to respond to feedback print as handouts and use as a green pen/purple pen task.
