Look Say Cover Write and Check is a tried and tested method of getting pupils to learn individual spellings, but to be honest they usually don't give learners much help in learning them. This one does! It includes multiple strategies, such as looking at word shape, relating to spellings already known, noticing easy and difficult parts of the word, etc. The resource itself explains how it can best be used.
