Sheet with different levels of questions going from easy to medium. Students will be expected to rearrange the equation for the medium questions. Allows students to choose working level and you to assess where they think they are, or allows you to direct students to a particular level without creating more worksheets. This exercise could be altered to include some extension activities by changing the final coloumn to 'hard' and including some definitions, units.

cut out the cards, make a board and around the edge write the title of each card include things like move 2 spaces on or 5 spaces back- a bit like the monopoly game. Students play the game and then write their own rock cycle on post it notes they must use the information from the game, they get the idea that the rock cycle is a rock cycle as it doesnt matter where you start on the board!
