Used as a year 8 plenary covering different aspects of algebra such as collecting like terms and multiplying. Class given time to answer as many on their own as possible then chosen one at a time to give an answer and remove a square. Joke behind says what is an owls favourite kind of maths (owl gebra)

A great plenary when working on simplifying expressions, there are two sets of questions so the difficulty can be set based on your own class. I particularly like the second slide where pupils have to spot the errors rather than just doing the questions. The joke is appropriately terrible too! Thank you for sharing.
