I created this as an activity for reception children. I printed off several copies of each minibeast and put them into their own envelope with a picture and the name of the minibeast on the envelope. When the children were completing the poem, they could either just write the name of the minibeast, or they could take a picture of the minibeast and stick it next to ‘I like’ to create a visual poem.

Really useful. Thanks for this. This will work really well for my class. I have foundation stage and keystage one class and will be very good for the foundation children whilst key stage one write their own poems. Thanks.
