At the request of my class, I wrote a Christmas play based around the story of the 1914 Christmas truce. Written for 85 children Year 1, 2 and 3 but could be adapted for other numbers or age group. Heavily inspired by various children's picture books, this play uses traditional Christmas carols which can be downloaded easily. We used orchestral versions which were a little more challenging to sing along to but really created a very special and moving atmosphere.
