Activity mat, results table and technician notes for a practical activity on adaptation of beak types.

Students use different shaped paperclips to represent beaks and see how many seeds and beans they can collect in one minutes.

Each paperclip shape will be better at collecting certain seeds in the mix and students can work out which paperclip style represents which beak type in living birds.

Credit goes to BTECsceience.co.uk for the idea and paperclip shapes.
