This lesson looks at amphibian life cycles as part of the National Curriculum topic ‘Living Things and their Habitats’ for Year 5. It was originally taught as lesson 4 in the sequence, but it could come anywhere within the topic.
After recapping the previous week’s learning, children learn about amphibians and their life cycles then create a comic strip to show what they have learned. A comic strip template is included, as well as an additional one with extra support for children with SEND.
