This interactive notebook set is all about making learning fun and engaging while giving opportunities to learn and demonstrate understanding about the origins and symbols of Anzac Day.

Students could come up with their own question to investigate, and then choose a shape to display their learning on, or you could use the set of questions in the editable file. I’ve also included blank title boxes if you’d like to write your own questions that is tailored to your class.

The newspaper has a pre-made option with photos and maps already added, and there is a version with student choice of photos and titles to add. The newspaper would be ideal for students to write what they know about Anzac Day, or they could write about the photo which is a primary source.

The shapes can be used to focus on a particular question. Each shape comes with a lined and unlined version. The ANZAC foldable has the option for students to cut and paste the words underneath, or to write the words underneath.

What’s included:

  • Interactive newspaper, poppy, wreath, bugle, Anzac biscuit tin, ANZAC foldable
  • Writing paper (ink saver and colour)
  • Visual step-by-step instructions
  • Editable titles with moveable images, or write your own

I hope your students enjoy using these for their Anzac topic.
