This 27 slide PPT is a full SOW for studying the Teen Vogue and The Voice CSPs. It introduces all the theories and has a mixture of short lesson activities, and longer extended written work. It looks in detail at Teen Vogue, then guides students to analyse The Voice using the same process - promoting the independence required at A Level.
This is sold as being a scheme of work on The Voice. It isn't . There is no mention of The Voice and that is the only reason I bought it. I am going to try and get my money back.

The description for the resource does state that it looks at Teen Vogue in detail and then guides the students to independently study The Voice - giving you a placemat to print out and laminate. This is exactly how I taught it with my students because as well as teaching students the content the drive at our school is also to teach them to become independent learners.<br />

Yes, the last three slides are designed to encourage the students to become independent learners. These has been a big push on this at my school; making the students less needy saves the teachers time!

An excellent resource. It can readily be adapted for your own class experience, but bar one or two slides I have used it all. It encourages the students to think in an independent and autonomous manner so essential for the higher grades. I thoroughly enjoyed using this and it has provided me with the confidence to introduce a challenging are of the course by its overview approach. Well done!
