This lesson plan allows A level biology students to explore the HIV. Students will be able to describe the structure of HIV, explain how it replicates, treatment and controls of HIV and AIDS

This lesson is packed with various activities:

  • Address misconceptions about HIV and AIDS using a starter game
  • HIV learning stations- students gather information about the various learning objectives
  • Practice Application questions to stretch students understanding
  • Relevant past exam questions- Students will be able to apply their knowledge
    • This lesson is a SAMPLER
    • Answer sheet provided; good to project on the board when going through the sheet with your students.
  • Estimated time: Should take approximately two lessons (1 hour each lesson)
