The game Rock, Paper, Scissors is a classic game, and a good one for showing students some key programming concepts, such as using variables, data types, selection and developing a HCI.
The program is written in Visual Basic as a Form Application, using Visual Studio 2015.

This worksheet can be used as a series of lessons in a class, or as extension or independent work so you can help other students who are struggling with their programming, debugging or technical issues.

Each stage has a short description of how it works, with code views, and step by step instructions to follow.

Suitable for Key Stage 3 Yr8, Yr9, Key Stage 4 Yr10 or Yr11, or even KS5 students learning to use Visual Studio or starting programming.
It could even be used by teachers wanting to develop their own ability and confidence in programming.
