This assembly was originally delivered by the Herbert Art Gallery & Museum, Coventry. It looks at how Christmas celebrations changed during WW2 as a result of rationing, the Blitz, evacuation and men being at war. It finishes with a really fun game that the whole school can join in with. Included with the resources are the original notes as delivered by the Herbert, which you are welcome to adapt to suit your school/class.
