I have adapted the SNAB activity for chromosome assortment and meiosis. This adaptation has made the activity tactile and therefore made it accessible to blind and visually impaired students. This adapted activity, is now suitable for all students and not just those with or without a visual impairmant.

great resource for visual and kinesthetic learners
This proved an excellent tool for helping my Access class to grasp Meiosis. I didn't have the Wikki Stix but used straws and different coloured pipe cleaners. I didn't tell the class what the outcome was and they thoroughly enjoyed it. When they found out they had started off the process of making babies they were ecstatic! <br /> Can't thank you enough for such an excellently thought-out activity.
