A well-presented, fully resourced lesson. Students are encouraged to develop inference skills when looking at the description of the Spirit and then when comparing to Marley. The lesson includes both independent and group work including hand up/stand up/pair up and carousel planning. Comparison worksheet is included and can be easily differentiated. The work for the comparison is modelled to help weaker students and challenge opportunities are available throughout for the more able.
