Two short videos on how to convert recurring decimals to fractions using an algebraic method. I've used these as a 'flipped classroom' approach asking students to view the videos for homework but you could play them in a lesson or let students use them for revision. Haven't watched the videos themselves, but really like the idea of 'reversed classroom' teaching. Maybe I'll set a homework for each student to find, watch, and record the URL of a YouTube vid on a particular Maths topic. Then in lesson, pick on a student to comment on their video, and show one that sounds interesting. Develops students as 'independent learners' too. Finding *quality* resources on the web is a key skill!
