This powerpoint shows visually the relationship between decimals (tenths), fractions and then percentages. I used it gradually beginning with decimals an fractions, and didn't introduce percentages until I&'d already introduce the concept of percentages as being a fraction of 100. I think it worked quite well for the first try.
