Scaffolded worksheets help students to work out where they can gain marks and the starter card sort activity helps students to differentiate between descriptions they can say (e.g. 'turn it') and the specific mathematical word they must write down to gain marks.
Stickers for the plenary to annotate 4 GCSE exam Qs and students added the stickers to annotate what they did.

A great resource to use when describing transformations. Specified to use with EAL students but could be used with any group really - provides plenty of practice on GCSE exam questions. I particularly like that the first few questions provide prompts for the students about what to write.
